This course will provide an overview of the benefits and risks of running a small social enterprise and building income pipelines through trading and commissioning. Participants will learn where to find contracts, how to use portals, how to identify the viability of a contract, and most importantly, how to become tender-ready.

The course will also explore packaging and selling services and/or products. This will include exploring the financial, legal, people and social value considerations. Participants will better understand: – where to find contract opportunities – how to cost and package their services and/or products – benefits and risks of contracts and trading, as a source of unrestricted income.
